Our Aims
We established this stud with the objective of breeding
top quality animal capable of producing the finest of white
fleece. To achieve this we purchased a collection of fine
quality female huacaya alpaca that had been sired by the
finest Peruvian bloodlines. We are using the finest dams and
sires with an emphasis on Accoya bloodlines.
Accoya bred alpaca have been shown to produce heavy boned
and strong offspring capable of consistently producing the
finest and dense fibre available.
Although the emphasis of our breeding programme is on the
production of white huacaya alpaca, coloured alpaca are also
available. These make wonderful pets.

Stud Service
We are also proud to be part-owner of Somerset Peruvian
Sensation. Sensation has been one of Australia’s most
successful sires and we are now able to offering him for
service in New Zealand. If you are interested in
having him cover one of you girls please contact us.
AlpacaNorth is fortunate to have recently purchased
Eringa Park Irraquoy from Southern Alpacas where he
occupied the enviable position of being their number two
stud boy behind Brutus. Irraquoy is a solid white, dense
upright boy. At the age of 7 years he is still producing a
fleece of less than 27 microns.
He was a 5 times Champion in Australia including Supreme
Champion in Adelaide. Of his 50 progeny (up to 2006) there
are 4 Supreme Champions, 15 Champions, and 78 1st or 2nd
ribbon holders.
He is a top stud.
Our solid black stud is Dion Park Paramour. He has
the reputation of producing solid, upright dense-fleeced
off-spring. They are recognised for their quite manner.
On our farm we have a number of Paramour off-spring for
inspection and sale.
